At the IG Showcase held in December, GF Row shared some of her observations.
The first one was when a media member asked something about HJ'S character in IG comparing it to his previous character in BOF.
HJ included 'Playful Kiss' in his answer. Umm... why were you thinking of PK? Did it remind you of its press conference? Were you wishing that the girl sitting next to you is your #shesmylife instead? hehehe

HJ's answer to another topic, kind of left me confused but aren't we used to his way of answering anyway. kekeke (To save space, I'll share text of the reporter's question, HJ's answer and a screencap with the hint.)
One of the reporter asked:
This made me raised an eyebrow as M&M is one of my favorite candy and have read its history. Some facts in Wikipedia are as follows:
Not to discredit anyone but it appears someone didn't do their homework. How can there be props of M&M from 1930s at the drama when it wasn't introduced until 1941?
Personally, I'm curious to see if there really is a 1930s prop of M&M in the drama. I'm also curious why a brand of candy? Why not a brand of beer or car -- things men can relate to.
I think HJ was playfully hinting who was in his mind during the showcase and that's none other than his #shesmylife; *cough-MM-cough*. ^-^

One of the reporter asked:
The plot is set in Shanghai, in 1930’s. That’s very unique. What’s your impression of Shanghai in 1930s?
What’s your impression of this city’s historical background? And, the other question is that because of
this drama’s historical background, many people think of “Age of Wild Men” from
10 years ago. What’s the differentiation
between your character and Jae Mo Ahn’s character?
HJ's reply was:
I don’t think there’s much difference between 1930’s and
this age. There are always all kinds of
people. As I shoot this drama, I don’t
think there’s any special emotion unique to 1930s. Also, Shanghai in 1930s is said to precede
Korea by 50 years. I’ve been shooting
until last morning.

| And there was M&M chocolate as a prop. |
This made me raised an eyebrow as M&M is one of my favorite candy and have read its history. Some facts in Wikipedia are as follows:
- M&M's originated in the United States in 1941, and are now sold in as many as 100 countries.
- Forrest Mars, Sr., son of the founder of the Mars Company Frank C. Mars, invented the idea for the candy in the 1930s during the Spanish Civil War when he saw soldiers eating chocolate pellets with a hard shell of tempered chocolate surrounding the inside, preventing the candies from melting.
- Mars received a patent for his own process on March 3, 1941.[2] Production began in 1941 in a factory located at 285 Badger Avenue in Clinton Hill, Newark, New Jersey.
Not to discredit anyone but it appears someone didn't do their homework. How can there be props of M&M from 1930s at the drama when it wasn't introduced until 1941?
