Jung So Min Is Sexy in Red for Arena Magazine

The highly desirable actress Jung So Min revealed her unique charms in a pictorial for men’s magazine Arena Homme Plus, which was released on July 24.

The young entertainer, who plays the heroine in KBS 2TV’s drama “Big Man,” has an attractive quality that is different from her fellow actresses. The pictorial played on this strength, using Jung So Min as the focal point for all the color in the photos. Her red dress is striking against the softly colored background.

In the accompanying interview, she talked about the diminishing amount of actresses in their 20s, explaining it as a generation shift. “There are many actors but few actresses. Even so, it’s lucky that there are at least some young male actors.”

The interview and pictorial can be viewed in Arena Homme Plus’s August edition on the magazine’s homepage.

The battle of handsome actors and their dramas is about to begin! In a recent press conference, Kim Hyun Joong commented about his feelings on his KBS2TV drama, “Age of Feeling” competing against Kim Soo Hyun’s drama.

On January 9, KBS2TV’s “Age of Feeling” held a press conference, introducing the characters and plot. During the conference, Kim Hyun Joong was asked, “You are in the same agency as Kim Soo Hyun. Have you two discussed about your dramas?”

In response, the singer turned actor said, “Although I am in the same agency as Kim Soo Hyun, he is the popular icon. Also, Jun Ji Hyun is the original popular figure. Since my drama is competing against their drama, it is true that I feel burdened. I said to him to not be nervous, but I think both of us will be nervous while filming. However, our nervousness won’t change the dynamics. The viewers are the judge. I hope that both dramas will have a successful conclusion.”

Kim Hyun Joong will play a talented fighter in Shanghai who fights in order to earn money for his sister’s surgery fees. The drama, “Age of Feeling” takes place in 1930’s Shanghai, indicating that drama viewers can expect to see different cultural aspects.

KBS2TV’s “Age of Feeling” will compete with SBS’ “Man from the Stars” and MBC’s “Miss Korea.” The first episode of “Age of Feeling” will broadcast on January 15 at 10PM (KST).

Kim Hyun Joong has announced his departure from the variety program “Barefoot Friends.”
On October 31, Key East reps spoke with TV Report and said, “Due to scheduling conflicts with Kim Hyun Joong’s drama, he will need to step down from SBS’ ‘Barefoot Friends.’ He recently finished his last filming for the show.”

In order to film for the upcoming KBS drama, “Age of Feeling” (or “Inspiring Generation“), Kim Hyun Joong will be leaving for China in November so it would be hard for him to film “Barefoot Friends” at the same time. After discussing it with the variety show’s production team, it was decided that he would drop out.

Key East also added, “The filming for ‘Barefoot Friends’ that took place on October 27 was Kim Hyun Joong’s last one,” and “He is preparing to show better sides of himself through the upcoming drama.”

Meanwhile, it is reported that Kim Hyun Joong’s successor for “Barefoot Friends” has not yet been decided.
