Jung So Min Was Happy Acting Out Brave Character in ‘Big Man’

Jung So Min shared thoughts on wrapping up KBS2’s Big Man.
Jung So Min said through her agency, SM C & C, “It was a project that I put a lot of effort into, in order to show a new side of me. I was happy to have met a brave character named ‘Jin Ah,’ who I have a lot to learn from, and I don’t think it will be easy for me to part from the project yet, since I put a lot of love into it.
The actress also shared, “I sincerely thank you for showing so much love for Big Man. I will work harder to show a better side of me, so please anticipate it.”
Jung So Min acted as a honest and confident character named ‘Kang Jin Ah’ in Big Man, which aired the final episode on June 17. She caught attention by freely acting the character’s feelings, increasing her presence in the drama.
Meanwhile, Jung So Min has been cast in film Alice and will be meeting with the fans again through the big screen.

Jung So Min Will Miss Portraying Her Character In “Big Man”
Actress Jung So Min expressed her thoughts on the finale of her drama "Big Man". Meanwhile, Jung So Min will be making a big screen comeback through the film "Alice".
Through her management company SM C&C, she said, “It was a project that I exerted a lot of effort into in order to show a different side of me as an actress. I”m happy to have been given the chance to portray a character as brave as “Jin Ah”.”

Jung So Min has landed another major film role. SM C&C, Jung So Min’s agency, revealed on May 22 that she has been cast as the lead actress in film Alice. This is her second confirmed casting for a film, following Twenty Years Old.

But the actress who also starred in "Playful Kiss" is not neglecting her film career. After being cast in the film "Twenty" with Kim Woo Bin, 2PM's Junho and Kang Ha Naul, she has also been cast in the film "Alice," a movie about a girl having bad dreams. The film's story is inspired by the children's classic "Alice in Wonderland," in which a girl falls down a rabbit hole into a strange world.
In the new film "Alice," the heroine Hye Joong is having terrible nightmares. She visits a pension called Wonderland, looking for the cure, and meets the mysterious owner. It turns out that her nightmares are caused by terrible secrets that must be disclosed before she can sleep peacefully.
The movie has been described as both a horror film and a romantic comedy and is supposedly based on a real event that took place in 1979. While "The Master's Sun" presented a new genre of drama, the horror romcom, this film may be the first k-movie that attempts to combine all these elements.
