요즘은 SBS ‘일요일이 좋다-맨발의 친구들’에 출연하고 있어요. 처음 ‘맨발의 친구들’에 출연할 때는 즐긴다고 생각하고 갔어요. 그런데 생각보다 예능이 힘들더라고요. 웃기지 않을 때 안 웃으면 안 웃는다고 뭐라고 하니까. 솔직히 전 진짜 웃겨야 웃는 사람이거든요. 제가 상상했던 거와는 조금 달랐던 것 같아요. 하하. 이제는 아무리 리얼리티 예능이라도 약간의 조미료 같은 게 필요하다는 것을 알겠어요. 너무 리얼하면 작품이 안 나오니까요.

리얼 버라이어티 프로그램의 가장 큰 장점은 형제 같은 정이 생긴다는 점이에요. 은지원 형, 윤종신 형, 강호동 형은 매주 보는데 어떤 끈끈함이 있어요. 지원이 형은 예전 소속사 직속 선배고 진짜 친형 같은 느낌이에요. 연예인 중에서 친형 같은 느낌은 처음이에요. 형도 마음으로 절 친동생처럼 생각해 줘요. 연예계에서는 친구를 많이 못 사귀잖아요. 예능 프로그램 고정을 하다 보니 가족이 생긴 거 같아서 좋아요.


English translation:

Nowadays I've been appearing in SBS' BFF.  I joined with the intention to have a good time and enjoy myself.  But being in this show is more harder than I thought.  There are times when you have to laugh even when I don't find the moment funny at all.  Honestly, I'm the kind of person who only laughs when I think the moment is funny.  I think this is somewhat different from my imagination.  Haha.  Now, I understand that even a reality show needs a little bit of seasoning.  If it's too real, the show wouldn't go on TV (and yes, it means the quality of the program may not be good.)  

The best thing about reality program is, you get the feeling of brotherhood.  I see Jiwon Eun, Jongshin Yoon, and Hodong Kang everyweek and we have something timid.  Jiwon Eun is a senior at my ex-company and it feels like he's a  real brother, which is rare among celebrities.  He regards to me as his brother too.  We don't get friends a lot here.  It's good to be in a reality program because I feel like I have a family.
