Hyunmin One Shot Story - J & M Love Story

Jihoo had his heart broken by his best friend whom he loved for years. He remained friends with her and happy that she is with a man who makes her happy. Will his heart beat for another woman again?

One morning, Jihoo was very upset because his grandfather scolded him again the night before. To avoid seeing him, he decided to get some fresh air. He took his motorcycle out of the garage and drove with no particular destination.

He stopped at a corner on the main street of a posh village close to where he lives when his attention was caught by a girl reading a book on a bench along the sidewalk. It took him a while to realize that he was staring at her -- he was in a daze.

He left the place but the image of the girl kept popping in his mind. She's beautiful, he said to himself. Who is that girl... does she live around here?, he wondered.

A few days later... Jihoo drove by at the location where he saw the girl. He smiled when he saw her sitting on the same bench. After watching her for a few minutes, he noticed the sad expression on her face. He wanted to sit next to her to comfort her but decided not to and left.

For days, Jihoo couldn't shake off the beautiful girl with a lonely face in his mind. Why do I feel pain inside my chest seeing her like that?, he asked himself.

Everyday for a week, he drove by at the same location to get a glimpse of the girl but didn't see her. He felt sad and started to think that he will never see her again.

UNTIL, ONE DAY...........

Jihoo was driving his motorcycle out of the driveway when a car suddenly stopped right in front of him and caused him to almost hit the car. He went around to the driver's side and was about to yell at the driver but couldn't utter a word after seeing the person sitting on the driver's seat; the beautiful girl with a sad expression on her face and this time she was crying, uncontrollably.

Jihoo panicked. He did not know what to do. He never saw a woman cry like that before.

"Miss, are you okay... are you hurt?", he asked.

The girl quickly realized that she almost caused an accident and felt bad.

The girl looked at him and said, "I'm sorry if I almost caused a collision. Umm, I'm alright... let's just go on with our business, okay?".

What is Jihoo going to do? Is he going to let her be, as she suggested? Or, would he take that chance to get to know her?
