♥♥♥ PK Episode 8 (Part 1) - Actual vs BTS ♥♥♥

Hello everyone - I know, I know... it's been awhile since my last post of Actual vs BTS/NG.  Sorry, I've been so busy at work and then there's the task to post hint/facts when it arises.  :)  Ok, let's just pick up where we left off.  

This actual scene was during the tennis camp in Episode 8.

 

 OHN convincing herself that tailing BSJ is quite alright to do. 

 It turned out Kwang So (tennis instructor) has a crush on Haera who, on the other than, was about to confess her feelings to BSJ but interrupted by the ruckus behind the bushes caused by KS and OHN.

 Until somebody caught them.

You're lying if you say you didn't squeal in this scene... BSJ got jealous and pulled OHN away from KwangSo and left Haera on the bench.  I definitely said "wooohooo... yes!  good thinking, BSJ"!  hahaha

After Episode 7, I noticed there was a focus on  HJ & MM's interactions behind the scenes more than NGs.   

 See how Coordi Noona was happily standing in the background?  I think she was happy to witness the transformation on the couple.   kekeke 

If I may add, I think coordi noona was the first Hyunmin fan... umm, maybe second to the cameraman.  hahaha 

And, it was evident from MM's actions that she was aware of the camera movement and...  

  started walking away from HJ. 
(Even the 2nd coordi noona had a big smile on her face.)  ^-^

HJ, on the other hand, was nonchalant.  Or, maybe he wasn't aware of the camera movement and went on blurting his 4d thoughts.  hahaha
   

HJ's coordi noonas noticed MM's uneasiness. 

Were they perhaps telling her that "her action spells conspicuous so just be nonchalant like the alien guy?!?"  hahaha  
 

 HJ looked on MM while she converses with his noonas.

But, MM stayed seated.

Not sure if HJ's look mean he just realized that he (the cameraman) was the cause of MM's uneasiness?!?  hahaha  What do you think???

GF Bella Bee translated the two parts interview of the producer on the topic,  'How MM landed the role of Oh Hani".

PD:  Our production ran into a problem.  We got KHJ for BSJ role early on but had difficulty for OHN's role.  No matter how hard we tried, we could not find the actress suited to play the role of OHN.  We had to delay the filming until we met Jung So Min at the last minute. That's why the production was rushed.

PD:  My most memorable moment when talking about this drama was your audition.  The place was in MBC studio... it was about 1  a.m. after you finished shooting for BG (Bad Guy).  PD Fan and I were waiting for you.

             

PD:  For OHN role, we spent a long time looking for the right actress but never found her.  We were like drowning in the pool who was willing to grasp at anything we could.

              Then, we met you.  When you entered the room, I thought "I found her" and also "this is worth every moment and effort we spent on looking for OHN".  Do you remember anything about it?

JSM:  I felt that it wasn't an audition...  it was more like a talk or discussion.

PD:  At that time my only worry was PD Fan, he kept silent throughout the audition.  He didn't speak... not a single word -- he just sat quietly.

               I was really annoyed and thought "why is it only me who kept talking".  However, my eyes met with PD fan and we just looked at each other quietly.  Usually, if our eyes meet means we are both satisfied.  The fact was our management also like you a lot.

JSM:  I almost didn't attend the audition.  I have been asked several times before but because I just finished a drama, it was hard to decide to do the next project quickly at that time.

Cinemart Roppongi Promotional Event

According to our good friends at Standby Hyunmin2, Cinemart Roppongi Promotional event is celebrating the 10th year anniversary of Korean dramas; featuring the most famous K-dramas in the past 10 years such as Goong (Love in Palace), I Do I Do, Playful Kiss, etc.  But, the eye-catcher at the event is the PK standee.  ^-^

Did you know that MM had an unexpected fan while filming PK???  Well, we have proof.  kekeke



This is the scene in Epi 2 wherein Hani was unaware that her PE uniform was accidentally swapped with HJ's.

Guess who was watching the three girls while rehearsing their lines for the scene?


(According to the video narrator there was a long wait and HJ didn't need to be there.)

This scene below is from Epi 10 , wherein Hani was drenched in the rain when she went to BSJ's work to give him a box of chocolates she personally made. 

Again, guess who was watching MM while she was in queue for her scene?  ^-^ 

In the beginning of filming, in bts videos, we've seen HJ hang-out mostly with his entourage (coordi noona, etc.)... it reminded me of what Papa Baek revealed at Goodbye SeungJo event -- their relationship changed after their first kiss (Epi 6).  ^-^

Let me start off by saying that AKP exploded this week. There were over 15,000 hits yesterday alone, which once again confirms the rabid love of Playful Kiss (Mischievous Kiss) online and in the international community.

I had no clue this was going to happen when I first wrote about PK – I recap and share PK goodies because it happens to be one drama I am thoroughly enjoying. Nevertheless, I’m glad to have the opportunity to enjoy PK with folks around the world. I read every comment, but at this point I would need 48 hour days and two extra sets of hands to respond to everyone.

Episode 13 of PK was probably the single most anticipated episode yet, and rightly so. It’s the episode that finally arrives at the big confession we’ve all been waiting for. There are two ways to view it. If I compared it to the same episode in It Started With A Kiss, then PK’s execution is indeed tamer and less intense. But I’ve never watched PK with an eye towards ISWAK, and I won’t start now. With that said, overall I loved episode 13!

For a sweet little drama, this episode was surprisingly heavy on the emotional heft, ending with a kiss that ranks amongst the best kisses by a young actor to a young actress in a young drama (sorry for so many caveats, without it the PK rain kiss is just a kiss, but I liked it enough that it ought to merit some distinction).

It was actually all the meaty scenes leading up to the kiss that really made me love this episode completely. Joon Gu got his dream date with Ha Ni, Hye Ra got to date an empty-shell of a Seung Jo, and both Ha Ni and Seung Jo really got down to thinking about their own feelings as well as state of their relationship.

More importantly, Seung Jo and Ha Ni make a decision! Independent of each other, they make a decision which does bring them to the same critical juncture in their lives. They love each other, and Seung Jo finally puts it all on the line. He wants Ha Ni, company financial needs be damned.

Lastly, over at Dramabeans, Girlfriday’s Episode 12 recap really lit a spark that ignited into a veritable discussion on individual identity, self-respect, ambition, and the meaning of loving someone. For a rather simple drama, PK really has a lot of worthy issues for discussion hidden within. My thoughts are thus: while I am a Hye Ra in real life, I rather envy the honest and unwavering determination of a Ha Ni to keep pursuing her heart’s desire.

But there is no objective right or wrong way to view Ha Ni, and it really comes down to personal experience and judgment. On this topic, the rest of my thoughts will be available after the end of this recap.
