HAPPY 4TH ANNIVERSARY, PLAYFUL KISS

Some of you might say, "wait, wasn't Playful Kiss aired on Sept. 1st, 2010 in SK?".  Yes, but our couple first met formally during the first day script reading in Playful Kiss on July 17th, 2010 .  ^-^  So, to commemorate their 4th Anniversary, let's walk down  memory lane by reading Ockoala's article titled, "Valentine's Day Tribute: A look at the Couple's Outfits in Playful Kiss".

Happy 4th Anniversary to HyunMin's first meeting in Playful Kiss!  kekeke

#6  Kim Hyun Joong & Jung So Min - Playful Kiss
If Kim Hyun Joong can’t love me, he should at least love Jung So Min.  She is adorable.

MM in uniform in PK vs BM

Just for comparison, MM's look in school uniform in Playful Kiss and Big Man.

It doesn't look like she aged at all considering it's been almost 4 years since PK aired.  Our MM has baby face.  ^-^

~~~ ~~~
And for those missing the couple.  ^-^
Don't miss Epi 3 of Big Man to see MM in high school uniform!
YJJ's SPECIAL POST - Couple Coat???
As we seen in the video of the BTS from Big Man, MM had on an Adidas long coat.
Another look...
As we all know, HJ is an endorser of Adidas... here, he had the coat on backwards during shooting of PK.
This was when he was being interviewed by MM.
Another Adidas coat he wore at IG shooting not too long ago.
Another look of the coat he wore during PK shooting.
Guess who else wore a coat/jacket backwards... none other than  MM who was filming while doing an impromptu interview of HJ.
 Do you see the camera?
Check out the Adidas logo design of the coat he wore during IG shooting -- it's different from the coat he wore in PK shooting.  I'm compelled to believe that the coat MM had on during Big Man shooting was his coat from PK.  Or, perhaps she has one very similar to his coat therefore, it makes it a "Couple Coat"?!?  ^-^
★★★ SPECIAL POST: IG Showcase Hints ★★★
At the IG Showcase held in December, GF Row shared some of her observations.
The first one was when a media member asked something about HJ'S character in IG comparing it to his previous character in BOF.
HJ included 'Playful Kiss' in his answer.  Umm... why were you thinking of PK?  Did it remind you of its press conference?  Were you wishing that the girl sitting next to you is your #shesmylife instead?  hehehe
~ ★ ~ ★ ~ ★ ~ ★ ~ ★ ~ ★ ~
HJ's answer to another topic, kind of left me confused but aren't we used to his way of answering anyway.  kekeke  (To save space, I'll share text of the reporter's question, HJ's answer and a screencap with the hint.)
One of the reporter asked:
The plot is set in Shanghai, in 1930’s.  That’s very unique.  What’s your impression of Shanghai in 1930s?  What’s your impression of this city’s historical background?  And, the other question is that because of this drama’s historical background, many people think of “Age of Wild Men” from 10 years ago.  What’s the differentiation between your character and Jae Mo Ahn’s character?
HJ's reply was:
I don’t think there’s much difference between 1930’s and this age.  There are always all kinds of people.  As I shoot this drama, I don’t think there’s any special emotion unique to 1930s.  Also, Shanghai in 1930s is said to precede Korea by 50 years.  I’ve been shooting until last morning.
And there was M&M chocolate as a prop.
This made me raised an eyebrow as M&M is one of my favorite candy and have read its history.  Some facts in Wikipedia are as follows:
  1. M&M's originated in the United States in 1941, and are now sold in as many as 100 countries.
  2.  Forrest Mars, Sr., son of the founder of the Mars Company Frank C. Mars, invented the idea for the candy in the 1930s during the Spanish Civil War when he saw soldiers eating chocolate pellets with a hard shell of tempered chocolate surrounding the inside, preventing the candies from melting.
  3.  Mars received a patent for his own process on March 3, 1941.[2] Production began in 1941 in a factory located at 285 Badger Avenue in Clinton Hill, Newark, New Jersey
The Investors.com info vouched the same info from Wikipedia - that Forrest Mars invented the recipe for M&Ms chocolate during the Spanish Civil War.  However, patent for his manufacturing process on March 3, 1941
Not to discredit anyone but it appears someone didn't do their homework.  How can there be props of M&M from 1930s at the drama when it wasn't introduced until 1941?
Personally, I'm curious to see if there really is a 1930s prop of M&M in the drama.  I'm also curious why a brand of candy?  Why not a brand of beer or car -- things men can relate to.
I think HJ was playfully hinting who was in his mind during the showcase and that's none other than his #shesmylife; *cough-MM-cough*.  ^-^
♥ DramaFever News: The 10 hottest KDrama kisses ♥
by Eleni Choephel on Wed, Oct 23, 2013
DramaFever published a list of the "10 Hottest KDrama Kisses" and Playful Kiss made it to # 4.
Woohoo... it's been 3 yrs but PK is still making noise.
Congratulations, Playful Kiss - Kim Hyun Joong and Jung So Min!
4. Pouring Rain Kiss (Playful Kiss)
When Jung So Min is stopped mid-sentence because Kim Hyun Joong drops the umbrella and goes in for the kiss, leaving the two drenched in the pouring rain, my feels could not have been contained. Ask my college roommate, she wasn't having my spazzing at all.
