As soon as I saw the drum in front of the big blue "lotus flower" in the beginning of the "Unbreakable" video...
It reminded me of MM dancing a traditional Korean dance w/a drum.
MM in class with a much larger drum in front of her.
Lotus flower design on HJ's jacket... lotus flower designs can be seen everywhere even on HJ's hand and arm.
(Thank you to Merianda for bringing this up to my attention)
Letter "S"...
depicting a dragon.
The Mask
Reminded me of MM's mask.
Blue Lotus on a red wall, black & white outfit
Blue Lotus Flower
As shared in my previous hint: Yoon=Lotus; Ji=wisdom
.
Red Medal
I don't know what this medal symbolizes except that red is 'love'. The color theme of the video is black, white, red and blue. As mentioned in my previous hints: black, white and red are the primary color theme in PK. But what intrigues me is the blue lotus flower in the center of the stage -- in theatrical sense, is the main "subject" of the play.
When I saw this: white horse, HJ in black with red shoes
Red/white shoes
Reminded me of this picture of MM taken in Busan during HJ's promotion of Kiss-Kiss in the same location (refer to Hint or Coincidence - 1, in the blog)
The dance move of this dancer
again, reminds me of MM's traditional Korean dance.
Some fans made a comment that the girl in white looks like MM. Subconsciously, we automatically expect to see someone who looks like MM in HJ's video after seeing a look alike of her in some of HJ's videos. But besides the girl's look, I think what triggered in our mind in this particular scene is the graceful style and movement of the dancer that are similar to MM's dance moves we've seen in videos, i.e, the extensions and twirls she did in the Korean traditional dance, her ballet dance in PK and Bad Guy.
The outfit of this girl...
Reminded me of MM's outfit at her school play. Her hair was also braided. :)
Overall I like this video because it has a combination of old and new; traditional dance and hip-hop. I'm extremely happy about this video because I can't help think that our couple "might" have collaborated in this project together. After all, MM learned the Korean traditional dance to be able to represent them in other countries as she said in an interview.

ReplyDeleteYou're such a great observer Gf YJJ... Love your special Unbreakable M/V hints # 2.
ReplyDeleteUnbreakable M/V is one of my fave.. the old and the new kpop combined in this m/v of Hyun Joong...but, i'm so curious about the dancer with white dress. Four hours, i use magnifiying glass, to be sure if its Minmin... her face is similar to Minmin.
" Obey 89 " what a lucky no. reminding the one who's wearing...."89" the birth year of Minmin, great warning Hyun Joong !!!
a great great great post...i really like it...thanx ! <3 hyunmin 4ever...:)
