“Wish everyone is able to spend an enjoyable time with those family members which have not seen for a long time”Actress JSM dressed in hanbok send Mid-Autumn Festival (MAF) blessings to Star News readers. Just
recently completed the filming of sitcom (Standby) immediately enter
into the next TV drama, she is very busy even on this MAF holiday.
”The new drama has just begun filming, during the MAF holidays, work still need to continue. Although there is only one day of holiday but feels very happy and fulfilling. On that precious holiday of course will stay home and spend it with the family and have a good rest.”
‘Standby” ended its last shoot on 18 Sept. Her first
time challenge of an end of a sitcom, JSM’s end-of-drama impression is
both happy and at the same time reluctance of leaving. In
the not a short time period of six months, what has ever attentively
filming ‘SB’ given to JSM, what entails…. as she recall and tell us.
“Sitcom unlike drama which has many dramatic plots rather it reflect more of daily life scenarios, it’s more close to real life. It’s
not that sitcoms don’t need much acting as it's like daily life but
compare to drama’s big scenes of life and death matters, sitcoms has
more of life’s trifle things, the process of meeting setbacks and
resolving problems is very interesting. Also very happy during filming to get to know so many good friends, this is the best I have gained.
While filming ‘SB’, when you are home watching your own performance on TV, what were your thoughts? Wearing an old fashioned wig, dressing as a fatso, do you feel embarrassed upon seeing yourself this way?
“When
actors perform the audience would visualize the character as the
actress herself I suppose because by acting and being taken as another
person, that’s something refreshingly joyous to me. Watching the character acting funny, I’d laugh along too, as if in this way I’m assimilating as the role.”
Although unable to be like everyone having MAF’s continuous 3 days rest but JSM still feel happy about it. The journalist ask JSM whether she prepare any MAF required soups and other food at home.
"Actually I’m not good at kitchen cooking sort of a person. MAF these foods my younger brother can do better. At the most I'd stay at the side and help that’s all besides there aren’t anything special to prepare for MAF."
Because
her grandparents live in Busan, for MAF and other festivals, JSM has
many festivals memories spent at Busan. “At least there are two or three
festivals in a year that we will surely go to Busan to visit my
grandparents and spend it there."
JSM said with a smile: “Grandparents’ house has a special flavour unlike cooking by mother, grandmother's cooking is better. Also
each time I’d get a lot more pocket money even it is not the Spring
festival, relatives also surely would come to be together, these
memories have very deep impressions on me.”
No
way like other female students to meet up friends in cafes for a chat,
JSM express:” This year’s holiday is very short, very regrettable; next
year then will have more longer resting time. Because of being so busy I have a lot of time neglected family members. This holiday will spend it well with my family.” *yjj*
